Who is responsible

Oxigen Data SRL (Romania) is the data controller for Sepialive. You can reach us at hello@foldworth.com.

What we collect

The photos you choose, the videos made from them, the effects you pick, your clip balance and purchases, and a random user ID created on your phone. We do not ask for your name, email address or a password. Like any online service, our servers also process technical data such as your IP address, to deliver the service and keep it secure.

Why we use it

Only to create your videos, show them to you, manage the clips you buy, prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations. Legal basis: our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for security and abuse prevention, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (servers and storage in the EU, in Ireland); fal.ai (USA), which runs the AI video models; Kling by Kuaishou (via fal.ai); Seedance by ByteDance (via fal.ai), used only when Kling cannot make the video; RevenueCat (USA), which manages purchases and only receives your random user ID; Apple and Google, which process payments under their own privacy policies. These providers may use the data only to provide their service to us.

Transfers outside the EU

To create a video, your photo is sent to fal.ai in the USA and may be processed by the model providers outside the EU, including in China. These transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or other safeguards allowed by the GDPR.

How long we keep data

Photos and videos are deleted automatically 30 days after they are created, or right away when you delete a clip in History. Once a video is ready, we ask fal.ai to delete its stored copies of the request, and the video file on fal.ai expires after one day. Your clip balance and purchase records are kept while you use the app and for as long as the law requires.

Deleting your data

You can delete any clip in History at any time: its photo and video are removed from our storage immediately. To delete all your data, including your clip balance, write to us. Uninstalling the app does not delete what is on our servers, but photos and videos are still deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro). To use these rights, write to hello@foldworth.com. We answer within one month.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and kept in access-protected storage, and each user can only see their own clips. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will report a breach to you and the authorities where the law requires it.

Children

Sepialive is not intended for children under 16. If you upload photos showing other people, including children, you must have the right to do so (see the Terms of Use).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always in the app, with its date at the top.
